The University of Reading Women’s Club is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.<\/p>\n
The only data we hold about you is:<\/strong><\/p>\n Name and contact details i.e. postal address, email address and telephone number(s).<\/p>\n An emergency contact number.<\/p>\n Your membership’s subscription status.<\/p>\n Members and guests are asked to sign-in at events or send apologies, so that attendance levels can be monitored and to maintain our accounts.<\/p>\n We use your contact data to:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Send you details of the annual programme of events and associated details.<\/p>\n Send you information about the Annual General Meeting.<\/p>\n You may be contacted to seek information on specific issues e.g. surveys asking for your views on Club activities.<\/p>\n Occasionally we may send you relevant information from or about the University.<\/p>\n What happens to the information we hold about you:<\/strong><\/p>\n Contact details may be shared with members of the committee to help them undertake Club business.<\/p>\n Emails sent to wclub@reading.ac.uk may be forwarded to the appropriate club member, who will respond to you via their own individual email address.<\/p>\n If a member leaves, current information held by the Club is deleted.<\/p>\n However, some data may remain in historical records (e.g. Committee Minutes) which the Club holds and which, from time to time, it passes for long-term keeping to the University Museums & Special Collections Services’ archives.<\/p>\n The information we hold about you will not be shared with any other third parties.<\/p>\n Photography<\/strong><\/p>\n Images are photographs of individuals and are considered personal data.<\/p>\n Photographs are taken at events\u00a0to document the Club\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n Photographs may be posted from time to time on the Club\u2019s website to create an ongoing image library which is publicly accessible.<\/p>\n Members will be asked on an annual basis, via group email, to contact wclub@reading.ac.uk if they do not want their image to be posted on the Club website.<\/p>\n Members can withdraw their consent at any time by emailing: wclub@reading.ac.uk<\/p>\n It is the responsibility of members to make their guests aware of the Club’s Privacy Statement with regard to photography.<\/p>\n Photographs will be retained for the lifecycle of the website.<\/p>\n Should you have any questions about any of the above please email:\u00a0wclub@reading.ac.uk<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The University of Reading Women’s Club is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
